Good locaton clean value for money
We were there for a very short time but the front desk was helpful with our inquiries. All the amenities we used were top notch. Thanks,,
The hotel staff were just great, helpful and very friendly. For the price the rooms met our expectations and we slept well. Perfect location if you do not want to stay where the mass of people are directly in Venice central the short ride with the water taxis make everything possible. The panoramic view to Venice in the evening with a glass of wine on the raised terrace in the first floor of the hotel at sunset is a must for one evening.
I could imagine in high season that if you would like to sleep in mornings that this maybe a problem for light sleepers because the hotel is directly on the main street and directly across from the main water taxi station and they begin serivce at 6:30 every morning. Otherwise I have no negative commments.
The night time front desk person was very unfriendly and did not make us feel welcome. The water taxis can be heard all night long. The bedside light did not work and the shower fixture was broken.
The location so close to the water bus station can't be better. So convenient. Also close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach is within walking distance. The staff are very nice. The terrace overlooking the water is a great feature.
Our room was odd with slanted ceilings making areas of the room uncomfortable. The window facing out to the water only accessible by walking up two steps. The skylights were odd and hard to reach. The bathtub is positioned in the slanted ceiling corner of the bathroom so standing up is impossible. It's the most awkward tub ever. Bed is okay. Mosquitos were brutal at times. Parking, although handy, was very limited in a tiny shared space. An added note, traveling into Venice from lido is a huge challenge.
Excellent reception staff, very helpful nothing was too much trouble. 24 hour reception is also excellent. The hotel is very clean and in a great situation, you can hop on and off boats, this makes your stay in Venice even better as you really get a feel for the waterways. The hotel is also close to a lovely beach.
Great location, convenience, and great value for money. Loved the island of Lido...
Convinient and well situated. Friendly and helpful staff. Traditional decor. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast. Nearby restaurants, cafes and shops.
No bath in room.
Great location,good breakfast,friendly staff.
There is no parking on site,it's noisy because vaporetto is nearby.
Hotel is at the waterfront, near the boat station, with the view of the lagoon.
Rooms are not comfortable. You have to jump between bed and comoda. If you complain on smth, staff can be feisty.
The hotel was just okay.
Would not stay again at Hotel Panorama simply because I had no idea that it was so far from Venice Proper since it was located on the Lido which was 45 minutes from Venice by boat. Thought the room and shower were much smaller than expected. Breakfast could also be improved upon.
Very nice, clean and cozy hotel right at the vaporetto (boat) stop for the boats to Venice - San Marco. The staff is very helpful and has great suggestions for things to do and places to eat on Lido and on the main islands.
My only (small) complaint: the ac or heating system doesn't seem to be working when the room card wasn't in place (I.E. when we were out of the room), so we came home after dinner to a rather cold room (in January).
The customer service and room was excellent :)
I would have liked the breakfast to have more cooked food like bacon, eggs, sausages, etc.
We like the location of the hotel. Although it is not on Venice island,Ledo is a nicer island than Venice. Less tourists, cleaner, and has nice sand beach which we enjoyed very much. It's cross the street from the boat deck, very convenience.
Can't think anything we did not like. Perhaps, it's the location. Since it is not on Venice island, the visitors have to take the boat to visit Venice, which takes time and the fare is very expensive.
